The Shortness of Life with Seneca

“We are born for a brief span of life…this spell of time that has been given to us rushes by so swiftly…but it is not that we have a short time to life, but that we waste a lot of it…life is long if you know how to use it.”

-Seneca

Life is long if you know how to use it.

The whole future lies in uncertainty.

We must live immediately.

Live immediately by embracing the things that make you feel most alive and free.

What makes you feel most alive and free?

The perpetual presence of the sublime through a sunset.

The high of endorphins through a hike in nature.

The simple adventure of a road trip to see new places and new people.

Find out what makes you feel alive and free.

Spend more time embracing those moments.

For that is what defines your time and makes life worth living.
